I’m Eric, a first-generation Basque forged in the fires of curiosity and unyielding resilience. Once a pilot who danced with the clouds, an engineer who sculpted innovation from raw ideas, I now ignite minds as an AP Computer Science teacher. My Basque heritage instilled in me a hunger for life’s grand adventures, but a devastating back injury two years ago, which confined me to a wheelchair, shattered my world—only to rebuild it into something deeper, richer, more profound. Through the crucible of spinal fusion and relentless rehabilitation of body, mind, and soul, I emerged transformed, my spirit alight with purpose. Now, I’m a solo wanderer, chasing the divine across the globe—sacred sites, untamed landscapes, and the whispers of God’s creation call to me. Anchored by faith, meditation, and mindfulness, I’ve surrendered to a journey of personal metamorphosis.
